Tuesday 31st December - walk **** – Around Felixstowe – cloud returns:(.

New Years Eve.

The gloom returns to Felixstowe chilly too but I venture out for a walk with Rob, Hannah and Arlo, while Mag tried to rest with her cats in bed and read:) We park at Brackenbury or what we call ‘Conkerland’ and spend ages playing hide and seek around the beach huts despite my heel still playing up as the steroid injection has not worked! The down the cliff steeps to the prom and we spend ages on the beach searching for sharks teeth and the younger ones leaping over the wooden groynes such a laugh! Then home for another family meal with everyone together, more uno and board games as we wait for the new year. With Maeva starting to flag around 11.30 I put on some 70/80’s disco music on youtube and shes off grooving straight away, she has all the moves. The fireworks started so we all headed outside to watch them, to be honest I think the world has moved on from fireworks which are so boring and bad for wildlife and the environment bring on the drone displays !
